He is survived by: his wife Sherry Hester; his daughters, Kim Boswell (Eric), Shelli Thompson (Bryan), Tosha Bell (Steven) and Holly Churchwell (Bruce); his grandchildren, Blake, Brandon, Brett Boswell, Bryce, Brock Thompson, Hunter, Houston Bell, Kynlee, Tate and Knox Churchwell; and his brother Jerry Hester. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Brownfield Church of Christ (502 Lubbock Rd, Brownfield, TX 79316).
