He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Moonen (Cope); his parents, C. T. Moonen and Katherine Moonen (Eagan); his brother Charles B. Moonen; and his son-in-law Randy York.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Sullivan (Keith Sullivan) and Reeda Jon York; and his granddaughters, Mykka Dockery (Jared Dockery), Ashli York, Lindsi Oliver (Matt Oliver) and Stevi Stripling (Michael Stripling). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
