He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Colson Glover, Bentley Martin and Jessie Glover; his parents, Carl Lowrey and Ferne Lowrey; and his brothers, Coy Lowrey and Jerry Lowrey.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Lowrey; his brother Melvin Lowrey; his children, Toni Selph (Troy), Scott Lowrey (Leslie) and Steve Lowrey; his grandchildren, Colt Martin, Jordan Glover (Cutter) and Kendall Lowrey; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Martin, Tatum Martin, Stran Glover, Nayvie Glover and Strait Glover. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Plains First Baptist Church.
