He is survived by: his parents, Jose Joaquin Herrera and Sandra Luz Acevedo Herrera; his siblings, Diego Joaquin Herrera and Ana Maria Herrera; and his grandparents, Elvia Tovias Serna of Acevedo and Jorge Omar Aguilar.
