He was predeceased by: his father Charles B. Isbell; his grandparents, G. B. Garrett and Amma D. Garrett; and his father-in-law Jesse W. Sloss, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dianne G. Isbell; his wife Sandra S. Isbell; his sons, Dustin S. Isbell (Paulina) and Kristopher B. Isbell (Gloria); his grandchildren, Khloe B. Isbell, Dustin L. Isbell and Liam B. Isbell; his stepgrandsons, Christopher Gonzalez and Edward Gonzalez; his sisters, Lisa D. Nunez (Carlos) and Brenda A. Alvarez (Artemio); his mother-in-law Norma Sloss; and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary "Tweety" Parra (Tommy), Jesse W. "Rusty" Sloss III, David H. "JoJo" Sloss (Ana) and Deborah "Tuni" Sloss. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Darling-Mouser Funeral Home - East Chapel (945 Palm Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78520). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center (33174 State Park Rd 100, South Padre Island, TX 78597).
