It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Batten of Brownwood, Texas, who passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Batten and Ruby Batten (Clark); his former wife Patrice Batten; and his brother James Batten. He is survived by: his wife Brandi; his children, Aimee Lockwood (Bobby) of Brownwood, Texas, Maxwell Batten (Brandi (Eicher)) of Brownwood, Texas and Jade Nelson (Jeremiah) of Asheville; and his brothers, Clark Batten, Edward Batten (Shannon (Frierson)) and Michael Batten (Jeannie (Harrell)). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowzer Community Church (124 CR 245, Rochelle, TX 76872).
