He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude McVoy and Jewell May Hawkins Simpson; his wife Sue; his children, Shannon Simpson (Jennifer) and Crystal Rogers (David); his grandchildren, Kristian Baker (Connor), Slate Simpson and Wilson Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Conley Baker.
