In the sacred silence of farewell, Earlene Bell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Alexander Henager and Lillie Bell Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Bessent; and her sons, Brian Bessent (Karen) of Cross Plains, Darrell Bessent (Tisa) of Brownwood, Robert Bessent (Denice) of Brownwood and John Bessent (Carol) of New Braunfels. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blaylock Funeral Home (1914 Indian Creek Rd, Brownwood, TX 76801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brownwood Evangelism Center (2515 Ave D, Brownwood, TX 76801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Brownwood Evangelism Center.
