It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert E. Bicknell of Brownwood, Texas, who passed away at the age of 81, on April 20, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert E. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert E. farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his parents, E. E. Bicknell and Lillie Leona Fulgham Bicknell. He is survived by : his wife Pat of Brownwood, Texas; his daughter Sharon McKone (Pete McKone); his grandchildren, Jessica McKone and Josh McKone of Fort Worth, Texas; his son David Bicknell (Veronica Bicknell); his grandchildren, Brandon Bicknell and Kelsey Castillo (Zac Castillo) of Albuquerque; his brother Barry Bicknell (Judy) of Huntsville, Alabama; and his sister-in-law Susan Smith (Sonny) of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (208 Austin Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (501 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
