He was predeceased by: his father Lester Burton "L. B." Fields; his wife Anna "Darlene" Fields; his brother Walter D. "Dub" Fields; and his son Weldon Fields. He is survived by: his sons, Brent (Cindy) of Brownwood, Dean (Karen) of Brownwood, Guy (Susan) of Odessa, Kelly of Dallas and Jeremy (Jeanette) of Virginia; and his stepchildren, Linnea of Midland, Kimberley of Wichita and Kenneth (Stephanie) of Fate. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bangs Cemetery (Bangs, TX 76823).
