With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Adolph Herwald in Bryan, Texas, born in Otto, Texas, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Herwald and Hattie Herwald; his siblings, Ruby Mansfield (Ed) and Ernest Herwald; his sister-in-law Martha Herwald; and his son Greg Herwald.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Lisa Loke (Kenneth) and Susan Gade (Tim); his grandchildren, Brian Herwald (Gabi), Aaron Herwald (Christina), Jeffrey Herwald, Laura Loke, Amy Marino (Joey), Taylor Gade and Jason Gade; his great grandchildren, Arthur Herwald (Archie), Charlotte and Emily Herwald; Kathy Herwald. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would request donations be made to Bethel Lutheran Church of Bryan, Brazos Church Pantry, Bryan Noon Lion's Club or the donor's choice.
