He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter C. Hunter and Lula Grace Brisby Hunter; and his siblings, Charlie Mae Lott, Elizabeth Sterling, Katherine Langston, Eliza Wilson, Alice Wilbert, Peter Lee Hunter and Gregory Jerkins.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Hunter (Rose), Diane Stewart-Arrington and Frank Stewart, Jr.; his grandchildren, David Hunter (Aimee), Angela Hunter, Raymond Jamahi Arrington, Kenya Austin (Anthony) and Ernesha Wolf (Floyd); and his siblings, Linda Robertson (Jimmie), Freddie Hunter (Alma), Ernest Hunter (Brenda) and Jeffery Hunter. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Daniel and Son Funeral Home (401 W 18th St, Bryan, TX 77803). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
