He was predeceased by: his mother Lena Brown (Busby); his son Billy S. Brown Jr.; his grandson Paul E. Lyles Jr.; his great grandchild Brizen Harlow; and his siblings, Clarence, John B., Frankie, Gertrude, Edna and Joyce Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Vonnie; his children, Barry S. Brown (Sandy), Virginia Smith (Lester), Karen Hess (Lonnie) and Cindy Lyles (Paul); and his siblings, Allen Brown (Lynn), Troy Brown (Carolyn) and Katy Knowling (Larry). He is also survived by twenty loving grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
