He was predeceased by: his parents, Briscoe Collett and Lenora Collett; his son Kevin Roy Collett; and his siblings, Ellen Ruth Harris, Mary Francis Blackshier, Dorothy Nell Collett and Bobby James Collett.
He is survived by: his son Derron Roy Collett (Michelle); his wife Annette Scurry; his granddaughter Lauryn; and his sisters, Doris Wells and Eva Durham. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-love; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
