She was predeceased by: her parent Ethel LaWayne Harper; her husband Monroe Lee Sharp; and her siblings, Richard Paul Sharp and Laurlyn Lee Sharp. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Preuss (Ernest) of Giddings; her adoptive daughter Melissa Valle of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Leslie McDonough (Ashley) of Hurst, Ashley Alder (Brandon) of Mansfield, Jenifer Petty-Harrison of Giddings, Andrew Preuss (Khennadie) of Brenham, Sarah Fairchild-Smith (Chaz) of Georgia and Kaitlynn Pruess (Timothy Wuensche) of Giddings; and her siblings, Jan McDaniel of Arizona, David Harper of California and Michael Harper of California. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
