He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Mae George Francis; his son Melton Francis; his parents, W. G. Francis and Opal Summerville Francis; his siblings, Donald Francis, Buddy Francis and Edith Francis Morgan; his siblings-in-law, Connie Francis and Willie Morgan; and his parents-in-law, William George and Nannie Mae George.
He is survived by: his son Moe Francis; his daughter-in-law Kelly Francis; his children, Tammy Francis Clossin and Patrick Francis; his daughter-in-law Tammy Francis; his sister Vivian Altimore; and his brother-in-law Dana Altimore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
