Lanicek in Bryan, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lanicek and Hattie Lanicek; his son Charles Lanicek Jr. (Charlie); his sisters, Joan Kosarek and Delores Kuciemba; and his great grandchild Khloe Lanicek.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lanicek; his daughter Dovie Hancock; his son-in-law Jesse Hancock; his grandchildren, Derik (Brittany Lanicek), Rusty (Laila Lanicek) and Mattie Placencia (Sergio Placencia); and his sister Loretta Lanicek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
