He was predeceased by: his parents, Ness Washington and Nealie Mae Young; and his siblings, Eugene Williams, Nelson Williams, Velma Lee Monroe, Mary Ann Williams, Tommie Nell Williams and Lizzie Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Arichstan T. Williams, Elson Williams, Jr. and Elsoneatra M. Williams; his siblings, Houston Lee Williams, James E. Young (Faye), Pearline Green, Eunell Williams-Alvin, Margaret Whitfield, Bobby Davis and Ester Walton; and his granddaughters, Chelsea Janae DeBerry (John Paul DeBerry) and Keiondra Gooden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
