David Michael Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on June 16, 2023, at the age of 62, David Michael Smith of Bryan, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Opal Finke of Bryan, James and Corrine Smith of Bryan; his mother Beverly Finke Smith of Conroe; his siblings, Jimmy Smith of Willis and Lori Smith of Beaumont; and his nephews, Micah and Charles Smith of Willis.
He is survived by: his father Milton Smith of Conroe; his wife Mikki Bailey Smith of Bryan; his children, Heather Squyres (Don) of College Station, Chris Smith (Jennifer) of Huntsville, Lauren Roberson of Bryan, Shelby Smith of Colorado, Austin Bailey of Bryan and Madison Bailey of Bryan; his grandchildren, Michael, Maddox Hanna of College Station, Kiley Crocker of Willis, Carter, Garrett Squyres of Willis, Raeleigh, Kyndall, Grant Benner of Huntsville and Kyleigh Roberson of College Station; his sister-in-law Lola Smith of Willis; his siblings, Robin Smith of Beaumont, Donna Cole (Robert) of Lumberton and Stephen Smith (Tonya) of Conroe; and his pet Lexi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David made an excellent presentation to the Bryan City Counsel with a proposal to donate a strip of his grandfather's pasture—which was accepted and made significant impacts for the city of Bryan—putting Beck Street in a position of value both residentially and commercially.
