She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Mae Young and David Young; her son Peter Moore; and her siblings, Charles Langston, Nettie B. Love, Onie Mae Lyons and Ida Benford.
She is survived by: her children, Aaron Moore (Michelle), Gary Moore, George Moore III, Christopher Moore (Sher), Eric Moore, Timothy Moore, Sandra Moore and Shirley Moore Hodges; and her siblings, Erma Jones of Houston, Willie Young (Barbara) of Houston, Clara Carter (Willie) of Houston, Dianne Daniels (James) of Houston, Artemia Humphrey (Robert) of Bryan, Shepherd of Houston and Betty Davis of Bryan. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
