He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola May Harris Edge and George Pickett Edge; his siblings, Cliff Edge, Willis Edge, Jim Edge, Curtis Edge, Gordon Edge, Lee Edge, Una James, Gladys Landry, Mary Nedbalek and Dorothy Moore; and his nephews, Bill James, George Moore and Wally Edge.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Frances Edge of Bryan; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Schlieker (RH), Temple, BJ Fox (David) of Bryan, Lana Mann (Reed) of Fairfield, Larry Landry (Diannia) of Bryan, James Edge (Linda) of Bryan, George Edge of Bryan, Ronald Edge of Bryan, Clifford Edge of Robstown and Bill Edge of Houston.

“I am so sorry to learn of Drummond Edge’s passing in 2020. The obituary turned up in the Eagle’s back issues just today. I remember “Mr. Edge” opened Ben Milam elementary school in Bryan in 1953. He and Margeret Whitely were the two sixth grade teachers and my father, E. C. McLarty, was the principal. What a super nice guy Drummond was. I remember that smile just like the one on this notice. Condolences to his family members, albeit late in my expressing them. Eralyn McLarty”
