She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Edd Lawson and Hattie L. Lawson; her husband Rev. Rufus O. Watters Sr.; her son Edward Lawson; and her sisters, Rebecca Barnes, Irene Cooks and Thelma McConley.
She is survived by: her children, Rufus O. Watters Jr., Sherrel Anita Watters and Hattie Lois Watters; her sister Odessa Livingston; and her grandchildren, Gregory Edwards, Kimberly Watters Brewer, Rodrick Watters, Kendra Watters, Kelvin Watters, Isaac McNeil and Venetia Worrel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
