She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Hawks and Vera Hawks; her sister Peggy Kindt; her son-in-law Larry Houston; and her brother-in-law Skeets Greer.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Jamison of Bryan, Joni Hollingsworth (Dean) of Corsicana, Janet Houston of Corsicana and Jeri Watkins (Scott) of Corsicana; her sister Evelyn Greer of Bryan; and her grandchildren, Jordan Philbeck of Tulsa, OK, Tara Smith of Norman, OK, Ashley Burns of Corsicana, Kristan Humber of Tyler, Meagan Durden of College Station, Tifani Torres of Maypearl, McKenna Erwin of Houston and Caleb Watkins of Ft Worth. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the YMCA of Corsicana, and designated to the after-school program.
