He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerrell Dixon and Louise Dixon; his wife Rita Darlene Dixon; his children, Donna Darlene Dixon (Dee Dee) and Joe Albert Dixon; and his brother Jerry Dixon.
He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan D Dixon (Laura) of Bryan Texas and Timothy Lee Dixon (Heidi) of Smithville Texas; his brothers, David Dixon (Chris) of North Carolina and Mark (Lisa) of Granbury Texas; and his sister-in-law Kay Dixon. He is also survived by one grandson, four granddaughters, one great grandson, and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the deceased name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
