George Lee McDonald Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Lee McDonald of Bryan, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fort McDonald and Mary Edna McDonald (McWhorter); his sister Mary Leona McDonald; his parents-in-law, Charles "Buddy" Burr and Elise Jean; and his grandparents, George, Leila McDonald, Edward and Edna McWhorter.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy McDonald (Burr); his daughter Elizabeth McDonald; and his sister Leila Davis (James). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family request that donations be made to Shiloh Cemetery in honor of George Lee.
