She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fritz and Matilda Schram (Stroppe); her husband Martin Vavra; and her siblings, Ella Schram Kehlenbrink and Wiil Schram (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughter Karen; her son-in-law Robert Freeman (Bob) of Boerne; her son Dennis; her daughter-in-law Alicia Vavra of Houston; her grandchildren, William Freeman (Melissa), Robert Freeman (Rachel), Adrienne Vavra and Alexis Thurston (Jason); her great grandchildren, Clara Nell, Finley and Dean Freeman; and her grandchildren, Tyler, McKayla and Gabriel Thurston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
