He is survived by: his wife Doris Boecker Franklin; his son Michael (Cathy Franklin); his grandchildren, Daniel Scott (Erica), Jaimie Hill and Joshua Mamola-Hill (Bekah); his daughter Lisa (Scott Howard); his grandchildren, Coleman Howard and Kaci Howard (Tyson Thomas); his great grandchildren, Emma Scott, Saylor Hill, Veda, Kobe and Kenzie Thomas; and his brother Richard (Shirley Franklin). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
