He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gritter and Alfrieda Gritter. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his siblings, Gail, Kenneth (Beverly) and Janet (late Bob); and his children, Michele (Mike), Jeff (Sandra) and Molly (late Peter). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hillier Funeral Home (2301 E 29th St, Bryan, TX 77802). A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (507 E 26th St, Bryan, TX 77802).
