He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Smith and Emma Smith of Sulphur, LA; and his siblings, Renn, Donald, Huey and Ruby. He is also survived by five children and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Hospice Brazos Valley.
