She was predeceased by: her parents, Loreda Gertrude Hefner and Curtis Hoytt Hefner; her brother Curtis Wayne Hefner; and her daughter Amber Anne Ayers Portillo. She is survived by: her siblings, Billie Jean Hefner Newcomb and Moberly; her pet Sidney; her husband Ralph W. Ayers; her son Bradley W. Ayers (Ralph W. Ayers); her children-in-law, Suzannah Beasley Ayers and Chris Portillo (Melissa Portillo); her grandchildren, Heather Gaston (Scott Gaston), Matney Portillo (Patrick Seigler), Winston Portillo, Alyssa Ayers, Emily Desormeaux and Sarah Desormeaux; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gaston, Hadley Gaston, Levi Gaston, Alexis Ramsey and Trey Seigler.
