He is survived by: his former wife Mary; his daughter Maggie; his granddaughter Tarynn; his sister Gloria Bates (Tom); his nephews, Joe Cockerham and Gilbert Bates; and his niece Christina Bates. He is also survived by his aunt, Patsy Bible; and many cousins and friends.
