Tommy Taylor wrote a sympathy message

“I met Jim at the Zondervan bookstore in Killeen Mall. He was very friendly and Jovial-- never met a stranger. His Love for the LORD was very evident, and we soon were on staff together at Memorial Baptist Killeen. I'll never forget the night at the Highland Baptist Youth camp, when he sang & "signed" WE SHALL BEHOLD HIM. It was Glorious!! Several Youth were saved that night! Another memory: He would come into the Church office, and laughingly say, "Tommy, let's go over to Grandy's”
