He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Maude and Jesse Everett Johnson; and his brothers, Tommie J. Johnson, Jesse E. Johnson, Jr. and J. Kenneth Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Hill Johnson; his children, Jerry Johnson, Jr. (Grace) of Buda and Janis Reed (Thomas) of Seabrook; his grandchildren, Frank Johnson of Austin and Faith Davitt (Andrew) of Huntsville, Alabama.; and his caregivers, J. Copto, B. Jutson, T. Hodge and J. Thatcher. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
