Anthony (Tony) Gaudiano wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Joseph Melugin, Joe Malugin was a very dear friend. He was a Senior at A&M when I was a "fish". His brother, Ramsey, and I often studied in his room, safe from the whims of upper classmen. I will miss hearing him answer my phone calls with "Joe's mule barn". God bless you, Joe. Save a place up there for Ramsey and me. I have donated to The Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in Joe's memory. Tony Gaudiano”
