We are sad to announce that, on April 28, 2026, at the age of 90, Kermit Decker of Bryan, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Kermit find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Decker and Clara Decker (Wuthrich) of Hutto; his wife Carolyn Decker; and his siblings, Delbert Decker and Dorothy Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Daren Decker (Gaye) and John Decker (Jeanne); and his grandchildren, Kelli (Mike Blankenburg), Laurie (Dave Cusano), Kerri (Danny Veitch) and Amy (Dusty Schoeling). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
