He was predeceased by: his sister Palma Holliday; and his brothers-in-law, Bobby Holliday and Jim Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Restivo; his children, Leon Cash Jr., Jean Van Wyckhouse (John) and Pam Murphy (Paul); his grandchildren, Cash Murphy, Jack Murphy and Jenna Van Wyckhouse; his brother Frank Cash (Luci); and his sisters-in-law, Jane Bennett and Betty Kirkpatrick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in his honor may be given to St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hope Animal Rescue Center in Hearne, Texas.
