He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Alfred Prescher Sr. and Viola Prescher (Thiele); his wife Sandra L. Prescher (Sandi); his brother Melvin Prescher; and his siblings-in-law, Johanna Rubinstein and Edward Clay Johnson III.
He is survived by: his close friend Ann; his children, Arthur Prescher (Rena) of Godley, Walter A. Prescher III (Bridget Prescher) of Bryan and Brenda Prescher of Casa Grande; and his grandchildren, Brandon of Joshua, T. J., Cameron, Michael, Justin, Andrew, Marcus, Hannah, Colten, Colista, Hailey, Hayden, Carcen, Cooper, Cody, Walter A. "Noah" Prescher IV and Elijah Clay Johnson "Eli" Prescher. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice in Walter's memory.
