She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Maria Barragan and Maria Jesus Ortega; and her son Joel Gonzalez. She is survived by: her husband Ramiro Gonzalez; her children, Salvador, Rigoberto Gonzalez, Alejandra (Victor Mejia), Esmeralda (Arturo Hernandez) and Edith Gonzalez; and her sisters, Celia and Carmen Barragan. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
