He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Dale Dodgen and Jewell Evelyn Spear Dodgen. He is survived by: his children, Mary Stewart Dodgen, Dana Cupples and Mitchell Dodgen; his wife Jean Dodgen of Bryan; his daughters, Tami Toon (Charlie) of Houston and Robin Schenewerk of Bryan; his grandchildren, Melissa Gibbs (Tim) of Cypress Tx, Chase Toon (Cassie) of College Station and Brook Wiggins (John) of Magnolia; and his pet Trudy. He is also survived by his grandchildren as "Paw Paw" & "Pappy".
