She was predeceased by: her husband Frank A. Shannon, Jr.; and her parents, Luther P. and Annie Danner Cooper of Newgulf. She is survived by: her aunt Pat; her sons, Paul (Patty Shannon) and Frank (Debbie Shannon); her brother L. P. "Jackie"; her sister-in-law Pam Cooper of Plano; and her grandchildren, Brooke (Alan Boyle), Lauren (Alex Dunigan), Cooper Shannon of San Antonio, Preston Shannon of Houston, Blair (Kindall Shannon), John Mark Shannon of Austin and Mary Kate (Aaron Sowell). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, four great-nephews, and four great-nieces.
Memorials are encouraged for the benefit of Crestview Retirement Center in Bryan, Hospice of Brazos Valley, or a charity of choice.
