She was predeceased by: her father William Massie; her husband Mike Johnson; and her aunts, Cecil (Nina Massie) and Mary Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Sarah, Michael and Nathan; her daughter-in-law Jaclynn; her grandchildren, Callie and Parker Johnson; her uncle Weldon Hicks; her cousin Sandra McBride (Wade); her brother-in-law Johnny Johnson; her nieces, Angie Johnson-Suggs and Brandee Plott (JC); her nephew Jay Johnson (Aimie); Megan Brimijoin (Bill), Cameron and Elliott.
Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, Bryan, Texas, where she was a member for over 40 years, and Aggieland Humane Society, from where she and Mike adopted her precious AJ.
