He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Louis Corty and Mary Violet Corty (Mounce) of LaPorte Indiana; and his siblings, Mary Ann Wynne, Barbara Patla, Edward Corty and Eddie Corty.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jo Corty (Peters); his daughters, Jeannette Rae Fraley (Kristopher) and Lisa Jo Fallin (Joe Bob); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Fraley Kindt (Jordan), Emily Fraley, Kristen Fraley, Katherine Fraley, William Fraley, Kaitlynn Fallin, Ashlynn Fallin, Brooklynn Fallin, Darlynn Fallin, Corbyn Fallin and Gracelynn Fallin; his great grandchildren, Hadley Rae Kindt, Athena McKisset and Tucker Aquila; and his sister Jeannette Veatch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
