He was predeceased by: his mother Evie Marie DeHart (Massey); his wife Agnes Surovik DeHart; his father Raymond Richard DeHart Sr.; his sister June McClain Peecher; and his son Raymond Bromonsky, Jr. (Sherry).

He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Mize (Benny) of Madisonville, Margie Gustavus of Bryan and Linda Conrad (William H.) of Bryan; and his siblings, Howard DeHart of Camp Creek, Shirley Vytopil (Joe) of Bryan, Betty Hubacek (Edward) of Bryan and Ginger Thomas of Bryan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 6 great, great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
