With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Kent Potts (Bryan, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard Kent left this world on August 6, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Potts; and his brother-in-law Andy Andersson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Potts; his sons, Lance Potts (Tricia) of East Bernard and Craig Potts (Carol) of Bryan; his siblings, Joel Potts (Judy), Linda Andersson and Jean Prewett (Ray); and his grandchildren, Seth Potts (Sara), Jamie Darr (Jordan), Jayci Janecek (Barrett), Avery Collins (Conrad), Shea Chumchal (Devin), Wren Potts (Kyle Bryne) and Marla Potts. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the First Methodist Church Landscape Endowment Fund in Bryan (506 E. 28th St, Bryan, TX 77803).
