He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Nava and Irene Nava (Rodriguez); his mother-in-law Esperanza Rios; and his grandson Juan Benitez II. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Rios; his stepchildren, Cecilia (Juan Benitez), Irene Vivero, Yolanda Ybarra, Ricky (Monica Vivero) and Arthur (Jenny Vivero); and his siblings, Jose (Lana Nava), Robert (Blanca Nava) and Norma (Frank Ramirez). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and loving friends.
