We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, at the age of 88, Rita Vanek in Bryan, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Frnka and Laura Kosler; her husband Frankie Vanek; and her siblings, Madeline Shimek, Genevieve Walters, Jeanette Canaris, Leroy and Jerome Frnka.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Vanek and Amanda Vanek Eisele; her grandsons, Zachary and Joshua; her son-in-law Bill Eisele; and her close friend Abby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Czech Heritage Society of Texas located in La Grange, Texas or a charity of your choice.
