He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Albert Stepney, Sr. and Betty Lois Stepney; his grandparents, Mable Pool Stepney and Samatha Cooper; his brother-in-law Reverend Lee Canady; his aunt Maime Cleveland; and his cousins, Anthony Stepney and Gale Stepney Farrow.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kelly Stepney (Patrice), Clarence Stepney, Jr., Patrick (Raye), Connie Stepney Canady, Bettie Stepney Williams (Derald) and Terrie Stepney; his close friends, Wanda Smith Williams, Rene Summers, Roderick Smith, Waylon Edwards and Joe Moncivais; and his pet Queenie.
