He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Johnson, Sr. and Bertha Johnson (Lewis); his siblings, John Arthur Johnson, Otis Johnson Sr., Willie Johnson, Billy Johnson Sr., Rosie Lee Shepherd and Beatrice Cox; and his children, Larry Johnson (San Antonio), David Johnson, Brooks McGee, Sharrion "Shay Baby" McDaniel-Bailey, Sylvia Sparks and Wanda Steels.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Johnson III (Fatima) of Houston, Texas, Gerald Johnson, Ronald Johnson of Bryan, Texas, Shaun Johnson (Marcia) of Euless, Texas, Vivian Johnson Van Buren, Jacqueline McDaniel and Marshelia McDaniel of Bryan, Texas; his sisters, Georgia Dunn of Morton, Alma Barnes of Ft. Worth, Texas, Emma Johnson of Ft. Worth, Texas, Patricia Brisco of Bryan and Brenda Carter; and his close friends, Perry Stephney and Helen Washington. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, friends.
