He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Veracruz and Pauline Veracruz (Coronado); and his siblings, Salvador Veracruz, Edward Veracruz, Helen Lopez, Mary Veracruz, Pauline Veracruz and Juanita Veracruz.
He is survived by: his close friend Manuel Aguilar; and his siblings, Benjamin Veracruz, Calistro Veracruz (Dominga), Josie Figueroa and Del Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
