He was predeceased by : his father William Alberts; his wife Judy; his sons-in-law, Tony and Mike; and his stepdaughter Kathy.

He is survived by : his daughters, Elizabeth Ginn, Jere Lowe (Melvin), Tresia Padgett (Chuck) and Leona Gill (Steven); and his stepchildren, Jessica Fields and Luke Easley.
